These kunzite earrings are a bright pop of lilac or mauve purple. These are wrapped with a bright spiral of sterling silver to provide contrast. A matching sterling silver ear wire finishes this design. They dangle just enough to be a little dressy but are still appropriate for day wear. The total length of each 10 mm wrapped kunzite bead is 1/2″ (10 mm). The total length of each earring with ear wire is 1 1/8″ (29 mm). These earrings are light & comfortable to wear. Kunzite is a member of the spodumene family & owes the characteristic pink color to manganese. Kunzite is named after the US mineralogist G.F.Kunz, who first described this gem in 1902.
