Soft, simple plain weave handwoven cotton in dark, chocolate brown with a hidden secret: the warp yarns are a dark, indigo blue. Sandwiched & hidden between the dark brown weft yarns, they perform their continuous trick of hide & seek. The thick mocha woven cotton stripe is raised & has a prominent hand-feel, creating both visual & tactile interest. The same fabric has been used for both sides of the pillow but the “face” of the fabric reversed, making the two sides slightly different. Both sides are “fronts”. Please see the photos. This pillow has an interlining/fusing applied to the rear-side of both the front & back materials to maintain fabric integrity & smashing good looks, & a top-of-the-line, YKK-zippered, fill opening for strength & durability. in addition, all fabric joints have been serged/overlocked to properly seal the edges, prevent fraying, & provide a crisp, clean finish.
