Surface design: Grinded aluminum Includes: spacers to separate the books -fasteners & instructions for assembly & hanging in drywall. Additional fasteners can be provided if you don’t have standard drywall & stud walls. Time to install: 45 minutes or less for 2 people Tools required to hang: Phillips Screwdriver or Drill & a friend, although it is doable alone. The books curve to the shape of the shelf, & the grinded aluminum surface design dances in the light. This shelf has a dual purpose in that it both decorates a room, as well as holds books. Since I put the grinded texture on myself, each shelf’s pattern is unique & a little bit different. The shelf hangs on the wall via drywall anchors & welded brackets, spaced to overlap the studs in your wall. The brackets get hidden as soon as a book is put on the shelf, hiding how it attaches. The shelf is very sturdy & easily handles being completely full of books. It also includes spacers (what you see in the photos between the books) to allow the books to take the form of the shelf. The shelf comes in three pieces which are bolted together before hanging. One person can do it alone, but it is much easier with two people. It should take no more than 30 minutes.
