This wooden treasure chest makes a great gift for kids for your little pirate’s birthdays or Christmas. Each box is made from solid wood & is stained a color of your choice. Then it’s HAND PAINTED & personalized with your child’s name in white, silver, black or gold paint. Boxes are made with high quality materials & make a great lasting keepsake for years to come! DETAILS: Wording can be; a single word, a first name, a first & last name/middle name, first name’s treasures. The trail & the x (the “treasure map”) can either be painted or left off. Boxes can be made with or without slots. NOTE: Smalls can ONLY have a small 3″ slot for money/coins. Med/Lg can have a 3″ or a 7″ (for cards/letters) Chests can have a decorative (non locking) hasp or a locking hasp that includes a lock/key. SIZING: Approx. Size. We can do either ONE word in all caps or up to 2 custom words. If you only leave the name, ONLY the name will be painted! The word “treasure” will not be added unless you add it. -If you want the map painted or not. If no note is left to add it, it will be LEFT OFF -Paint color for the wording. PLEASE NOTE: This box is made from natural wood & does have points where the joints are glued together to ensure it’s sturdiness & ability to last. There may be some spots inside where the stain doesn’t “stick” as well due to glue. Each box will vary slightly in color, texture, grain pattern & natural blemishes such as knots, etc. as it’s made from natural wood. Please also keep in mind that the final product is HAND painted, not made with stickers/vinyl or stencils, so the lettering may vary slightly (in things such as line thickness, curls, etc) from the digital sample. Chests are stained after their built. Some colors may leave a “wash” of stain on the hardware (grey, barn red, antique white, ebony black for example) other colors may leave some stain in creases.
