Custom opening Crescent Conservation Mat Board. Acid free, lignin free, fade & bleed resistant archival mat. Made 100% of virgin alpha cellulose (wood pulp) & treated for a 300-year life. IMPORTANT: Acid free mats containing lignin are non archival, their life span is around 10 years -this is most visible decoration mat you can find everywhere. Conservation mat boards are used for most artwork or photographs that have a life expectancy of 50 -150 years – & should be used on original work, fine art prints, on archival acid-free paper & other valuable papers. Mats are shipped secured in clear archival photo bags. Mat board comes with professional 45 degree beveled edge cutout. All mats are BRIGHT WHITE CORE, 4 Ply – 1/16″ Thick.
