A nice stoneware ashtray made by well known California studio potter Brent Bennett. He studied under Raul Coronel & was active in California for decades. This thick hand thrown piece measures 6.625″ wide by 1.25″ tall. The center area is hand decorated in a freeform manner with white, brown & gray tones which also extend down the sides of the tray. The underside has the Brent Bennett signature. This piece is in nice original condition & has 6 shallow slots on the rim for holding your smokes.
