Bronzed & Green Onyx Dachshund Dog Mid Century Trinket Ashtray. Seen similar dogs trays called Dachshund. Vintage detailed & small sized dog & measures 1 3/4″ long, 1″ tall. Not sure of metal but has bronze/brass tint wearing through & still could be another metal. Unsigned unless under old felt, looks similar to Austria cold painted Figural Ashtrays Greenish stone with cool brown coloring highlights & has nice vanes but could be marble also. Measures 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ & 2″ tall. Stone is 7/8″ thick. Weight is close to 1 pound. Good condition with nicks & chips mostly on the stone bottom edges. Dog has finish wear but still looks so cute. Dog is tightly mounted & hopefully will stay that way in shipping. Has original old worn felt bottom. Guessing made way before 1998.
