Flame Painted Copper Earrings, Colored Rustic Jewelry, Southwest Teardrop Earring

These earrings are made with copper & fire only! I make it by painting patterns onto copper with a micro torch, & as the copper heats & cools it turns different colors! the piece is then coated with a protectant to keep it from further oxidizing. I have control over the pattern only – the colors happen naturally – so each one I make is always unique & one of a kind. The earrings are made using a drop shape piece of copper which is about 1 3/4″ long & about 7/8: wide, shown on a copper earwire. Definitely a one of a kind piece.
