Handmade Lampwork Glass Thimble -Turquoise Paisley – Sra S105

I love Thimbles! I’ve collected them for years, so I decided to make them out of glass just like my beads. This thimble is a Floral thimble featuring a paisley like design with raised orange rose buds in each paisley curl. It measures 27mm tall & 24 mm wide. All my Thimbles are made with Effetre, Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, Devardi & Ornela glass rods or a combination there of & have been properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln overnight for lasting durability. Each thimble is individually hand made, detailed & signed by glass artist, Colleen Schroll. It is a unique, one of a kind thimble & no two are exactly alike The thimbles were made by myself in my little studio right in the middle of cow country in Missouri. I’ve been making beads & glass pens for over 18 years now & enjoy every minute I can get at the torch. I just recently added thimbles to my glass play & really enjoy thinking up new designs for such a small space. Although I usually can grab about two hours in the evening to devote to beads & things.
