Some stain colors may have a wash of stain on the hardware. Designs on hardware can vary. Slots can be added to the lid. We can do 3″ for money. PLEASE NOTE ABOUT OUR RUSTIC BOXES: This box is made from natural wood & does have points where the joints are glued together to ensure it’s sturdiness & ability to last. There may be some spots inside where the stain doesn’t “stick” as well due to glue. Each box will vary slightly in color, texture, grain pattern & natural blemishes such as knots, etc. as it’s made from natural wood. Please also keep in mind that the final product is HAND painted, not made with stickers/vinyl or stencils, so the lettering may vary slightly (in things such as line thickness, curls, etc) from the digital sample. Chests are stained after their built. Some colors may leave a “wash” of stain on the hardware (grey, barn red, antique white, ebony black for example) other colors may leave some stain in creases.
