These shiny metallic rainbow hematite beads are little fiery pops of color against stark silver chains. Small but noticed, these earrings are light catching as they move with you when worn. A tassel of 5 chains dangle one bead each from your earlobes. All links are securely soldered. These rainbow titanium hematite shower earrings are made from 4 mm beads & sterling cable chain with sterling ear wires. The five chains are graduated in length from 1/4″ (7 mm) to 1 1/4″ (29 mm). The bead dangles are wire wrapped to the chain. These earrings are 2 3/8″ (61 mm) long & 4 mm at the widest point. The total length of each earring is 2 3/8″ (61 mm) long. They are very light & comfortable to wear. Hematite is an iron ore with a metallic gray appearance. Due to great popularity actual hematite is rare & man-made synthetic hematite is often sold as natural. Testing costs are prohibitive for the relative value of actual hematite so it’s often impossible to know, even in a wholesale environment, what you’re buying. “Hematine” is a trade name denoting synthetic or imitation hematite. These hematite or hematine beads are coated via physical vapor deposition with titanium oxide.
