Offered for sale is one real Green-banded Urania moth, Urania leilus, preserved, dried & unmounted. That means that the specimen will come FOLDED up in a paper triangle. Urania leilus can be found in tropical South America, east of the Andes. The average wingspan is 70mm (2.8 in). The picture of the mounted (spread) moth is for reference only. Yours will look similar. However, there may be small differences in color & size as each insect is unique. These moths are in A1 (perfect), or A – (almost perfect, broken antenna) condition.
