Vintage 1950S Chalk Ware Ashtray With Baby Deer Fawn

Vintage 1950s Chalk ware ashtray with baby deer fawn. Here is an adorable 1950s antique chalk ware ash tray with a baby fawn lying down on the rim & a speckled color glaze or paint. There is a bit of history here evident by the hand written note & tag on the bottom. Also the date it was bought 1958,and where, Wisconsin Dells . in great condition with one small chip on the backside corners & a old repair to the corner on the front side just behind the deer.(see photos.) The repair is barely visible & takes nothing away from the vintage glory of this rare piece of tobacciana. Measures 5 inches by 5 inches by 3 inches tall.
