These carts were used in factories & at railroad stations to haul goods. We have an assortment of sizes & weights available. People use these as coffee tables, we prefer to use them as carts to carry stuff. Handles are available to go into the corner posts for actual use. These carts have a weight capacity of 3000 lbs. They are very heavy themselves Some weigh in at over 500 lbs. Available in ‘as in’ condition or we can do whatever level of restoration you may want. We took the pressure washer to this one to get off all the loose paint, grime, dirt, spider webs & sawdust. The deck is 48″ in length 26″ width. Packing methods, customs & duty agent, local terminal pickup all play into freight rates. Providing the correct freight class & NMFC code all play into the correct rate. These carts have a $65 packing charge for motor freight shipment. We do not inflate prices of items skyhigh to allow for free freight. We do not just list a $989 freight cost like some other sellers. Freight cost will vary for all our customers. Sorry to say but people in CA will pay a lot more for shipping items than someone in NJ. We will combine your items ordered into one shipment for the best rates possible. in my real world day job I have been involved in logistics for 30 years. How to correctly pack, crate ,wrap & strap the items we sell only comes from experience. I have been able to leverage by day job access to reasonable negotiated rates from national LTL motor carriers. UPS Freight, RL Carriers, YRC, FedEx & Old Dominion. These are national LTL carriers that all have a network of terminal to serve our customers. Having enough local terminals that if you want to save the residential, liftgate surcharges that all the carriers charge we can find one close by.
