Glass Yellow Cherry Bracelet featuring a 1/2 inch high glass cherry bead & one handmade green glass leaf, hung on an adjustable-length Figure Eight chain in your choice of metals. The chain is 8 inches overall, & can be worn at any length you please by clipping the lobster clasp into any large link of the chain. The free end of the bracelet is finished with a small green glass leaf. You can select the color of your leaf when you purchase. This bracelet can be worn as-is, or you can add other charms as you like. Your jewelry will be carefully packed with biodegradable plant fiber inside a 100% recycled paper gift box with a stretch bow. Multiple Items: If you order several items from my Shop, they will be packed inside the same gift box to avoid waste. The Nature of Mother Nature Almost nothing in nature is completely round, smooth or even, so I avoid making my glass fruit & leaves too perfectly. I put on little splotches & speckles, make them a tidbit lopsided, & add other small imperfections so that each berry or leaf is unique. This makes them look much more real. Process & Materials: I create each of my cherry beads by melting glass rods in the flame of a torch directly onto the twisted end of a copper wire which becomes the stem. Because the copper stem is embedded inside the glass it can never be pulled free. The realistic color of the skin is made by melting on 20 consecutive coats of powdered glass. I don’t use paint so the color will never fade or rub off. Because I make each of these fruit & leaves individually from glass rods, no two are exactly alike. Sustainability: The packaging for your order has been reduced as much as possible while still preventing glass breakage. Everything I use (except for the stretch bow) is made from recycled or sustainable materials. The brown packing tape can be recycled right along with the cardboard boxes, labels, paper inserts or filler & light brown tissue paper. The organic Kapok fiber padding inside your gift box will biodegrade, but not fast enough for curbside composting, so please put that in your regular trash along with the red stretch ribbon.
